Copyright Policy

All materials created by individuals or corporations are protected by copyright law. That includes materials from the web. Written permission must be given in order to use any part of the materials created. Exceptions to this law occur when materials are used for educational purposes. Under Fair Use, students may use copyrighted materials without consequence of legal penalty.

Plagiarism is to commit literary theft. The presentation of copyright material as a new and an original idea without clearly citing the originating source is effectively the stealing copyrighted intellectual property.
